Welcome to WebCyclery
Ellsworth Demo Center
We've finally received a few more Ellsworth Demo bikes. We've always had one or two Truths around, but now we have a few Truths and a Moment for people to Demo. Very nicely built, the demo bikes can be test ridden for free in our parking lot, or can be taken out for a real demo on the trails - only $45 a day. Of course, the demo fee can be applied to the purchase of a new Ellsworth...
New Folding ExiWolfs
We should be getting some of the new WTB Exiwolf Folding tires on Tuesday or Wed - should be pretty cool. Kevin likes the Exiwolfs on his Karate Monkey (at least he did until he crashed and separated his shoulder).
Echo,
Zoo, and GU
We just received
a whole bunch of stuff, including Echo HiFi frames ($625), Zoo Pitbulls (both
long and short - $550), GU frames (1075mm and 1100mm - $675), Echo CNC forks
($175), Gu forks (black - $180), Zoo FW Stcok cranks (Black - $180), more Team
Completes ($1125), Python Completes ($1275), and a couple of HiFi completes
($1300). But hurry up, these will all go fast, probably before Kevin gets pictures
up.

fast - so order NOW!
Mary,
Mungo, and Midge

on the Mary already
- which means you need to order today, because they will be gone by Thursday
or Friday (5-27).Sorry - Mary bars are sold out again. More in a week
or two. We still have a couple dozen
Midge and Mungos.
MeanTodd and Kevin hit the Podium at Pickett's Charge
 In
their first MTB race in over 5 years both Kevin and MeanTodd got to step up
onto the podium at the end of the day. It was the first time that either of
them had entered the (Sport) Single Speed category. We're not sure whether or
not the results are accurate, but Kevin says "They'll have to pry these ribbons
out of our cold, dead hands if they want them back!". WebCyclery rider Tim "Fonzie"
Jones took top honors in the Expert SS class, winning the Saturday's Time Trial
and Short Track events, as well as Sunday's XC race.
This
just in - we have a truck load of '04
Redline Monocog Flight framesets that we need to get rid of. This is
a great way to get into Single Speeding for not a lot of money. You get the
frame, fork, and a wheelset for $250. We'll throw in some Avid BB5 mechanical
disc brakes for another $100! This is a smoking deal, and won't last very long.
The frames are made of U6 Aluminum and will take canti or disc brakes. We only
have 17" and 19" frames. Hurry!

Sorry
Ladies, it's official, MeanTodd is OFF THE MARKET. MeanTodd proposed to the
beautiful Melissa Morris, his girlfriend of about a year and a half. Melissa
actually accepted MeanT's offer, believe it or not. A date has not yet been
set, but we'll keep you up to date. Congrats MeanTodd!
There's
a new face at WebCyclery. Dave Cieslowski has joined the crew and will help
us continue to grow. Dave has a background in the nordic ski industry. Hmmm...We
do live in Bend, OR, one of the biggest Nordic ski communities in the country...maybe
we'll have to start selling some skate and classic skis.
Gold Paul Components Stuff is Here - and ONLY HERE! It'll all be up on the site
later today. Call us if you need it now!
BLUE PHIL WOOD HUBS!
We
only received a few sets of these - and they have to be purchased in sets. We
have the regular KISS OFF
($305) and some of the KISS
OFF Disc ($466). All of them are 32H. These are very limited editions
- who knows if and when they will do a run of blue again. Get a set now because
the won't last long!
Hope Trials Brake
We received a few of the new Hope
Trials Disc Brake - front only - $275.
We also received some of the new Tank Green On One Inbreds - they look pretty
cool. Forks to match as well.
Spot 29"er - In Stock!
We just got a 17.5" Red Spot 29"er frame. This is not something you will find
at any old shop. Odds are you won't find one in stock anywhere - as they are
usually special order only and take at least a couple of months to get. So order
your new Spot 29"er right now - call us and it can be yours for $950 - and you
won't have to wait months to get it. Match this baby up with one of those swanky
Sibex Ti forks, and we'll throw in the headset of your choice.
The newest
frame from Planet X is finally here - the
Ali Bongo. It is the evolution of the Tibo frame, and an improvement
on the Zebdi. It comes in 4 cool paint jobs, the dare dEVILish Vegas, the Polynesian,
the 777, and Matte Black. The Ali Bongo has a +20mm BB, 390mm stays, 1050 wheelbase,
and a low standover. Not as long as some of the new school frames, but definitely
in the ball park, making it great for street or pure competition. $399.
Since
we have these new frames, we've decided to try to blow out some of our older
Planet X frames - we have some Jack
Flashes, Zebdis,
and Tibos, and
we're blowing them all out for $350 each! Smokin'!
We're
also blowing out some of the Monty mod bikes. We have 219
X Alps, X Alp
Maguras, and 220
Hydras all on sale for 20-28% off.
Other deals include - TruVativ
Stylo SS cranks are on sale for $95. Tioga
DH Pro Tires are $25.
