We took Salsa's Stormchaser frameset (6066-T6 alloy frame with Class 5™ VRS and the Salsa Stormchaser carbon fork) and built it up with our own little build kit. We started off with SRAM's RIVAL XPLR wireless 1x set up. We put a Praxis Cadet M30 crank and bottom bracket on it, with a Wolf Tooth 38t chainring. It features the XPLR 10-44t 12spd cassette. For the cockpit, we chose the Salsa Guide post and stem, and a Cowbell handlebar, as well as a WTB Volt saddle. DT G1800 Spline 25 wheels with Teravail Cannonball 700x47 tires round out the build. It's pretty sweet if we do say so ourselves, and doesn't break the bank. Includes the AXS battery and charger. The frame features Salsa's Alternator Flat Mount dropouts which allow for 1x geared drivetrains or easy, solid single speed setups (with single speed plate, sold separately). Mounts for water, food, and accessory storage let you go far and wide in places with few resupply options.
