The Speedmax 100He Skate Plus 610 is the top model with a new race design and, as the RACE CODE seal confirms, has proven itself many times on the World Cup. This ski is equipped with innovative Cold Base Bonding technology for optimal wax absorption and grindability as well as liquid- waxable Gliding Sidewalls for reduced friction. For more speed, the Speedmax 100HE Plus 610 has a weight of just 950 grams, making it the lightest and fastest racing ski from Fischer. The Helium 610 camber works best on hard packed snow. It was originally designed for World Cup skiers who tend to race on a lot of man-made snow. To protect the base, a thin layer of travel wax is applied to the skis which must be removed and brushed off before the first use. If you would prefer, we can scrape and brush it before we ship. The Plus version is optimized for use at 14°F (-10°C) and warmer. This is the new Speedmax 100 Classic Plus 702. It is the top model for classic - it is designed to be a hardwax ski (if you want to use klister, get the 902). Basically, this ski has an 812 camber under the foot (lower), but the tips and tails of the 902 (more splay). The 702 featuresh the innovative Cold Base Bonding technology for optimal wax absorption and sandability as well as a liquid waxable gliding sidewall for reduced friction, creating even more speed. We typically ship skis with a layer of travel wax, unless you specifically ask us to scrape and brush.
