World Cup technology trickles down to the Fischer Superlight Zero ski. The Fischer RCS Zero ski has been tested and proven on the World Cup. The Superlight is a recreational classic ski with the zero material in the kick zone. Under foot is a softer material that gets fuzzy when sanded with 100 grit abrasive. At the front and back of the kick zone is a more dense material that glides better. And while zero skis were designed originally for 0 Celsius conditions, these work well in a much wider range. A new material, basalite, is used to replace fiber glass in much of the ski. It is lighter and stronger. This could be the classic zero ski for all of us in almost all conditions.
