SRAM Red Groupset w/SRAM Cooler

Here it is.....the BRAND NEW SRAM RED 2x grouppo. This comes with the power meter and the all new and improved Hammerhead Karoo cycling computer. The group comes in at a whopping 2496grams (153 grams lighter than the previous groupset). This is now the LIGHTEST electronic 2x road group on the market.

SRAM has redesigned the lever/hood shape. They've reduced the circumference, and made the levers even more comfortable. They have 'bonus buttons' that can be used to shift (default) but can also be programmed to work with the Hammerhead Karoo, or ????? The levers have reach adjustment and 4 position contact adjustment. They allow for 1 finger braking from the hoods - using 80% less effort. They also use 66% less effort from the drops. They did this by changing the pivot location and the piston layout.

The new calipers and rotors are lighter and stiffer. They still use DOT fluid. The rotors are a 2 piece design with an aluminum carrier and they changed the brake track a bit. Centerlock only. Same ol' brake pads. They shaved 83 grams from the brakes.

The crank is all new, and has an all new carbon layup. It is 29g lighter, still features the 8 bolt mounting interface, and only comes in DUB. It will be available down to a 160mm. BB is NOT included in the groupset.

The refined 1 piece chainring is lighter and stiffer than before. It features the integrated power meter. Chainring set ups will include 50/37, 48/35, 46/33 (this kit comes with the 48/35t). Aftermarket ring options will include 52/39, 54/41, and 56/43)

The new RED chain still has hollow pins and has new inner and outer link cutouts, dropping 13g.

This kit comes with a 10/30 cassette. Other options will include 10/28, 10/33, and 10/36, and will also be available in the rainbow color.

The all new front derailleur is faster than before and more precise, making shifting effortless. It is smaller and narrower. It features a 3 position auto-trim.

The new rear derailleur comes in 1 length, with a longer cage and they added 2 teeth to the aluminum pulley (not a magic pulley). The rear derailleur is 16g lighter.

The new Hammerhead Karoo has been designed with the new groupset....it has updated hardware with better feeling tactile buttons. It features an ambient light sensor with auto brightness. It has easy to read battery levels, and gives you the ability to reconfigure AXS controls from the Karoo. 15 hour run time. BLE and ANT+.
